The OTAL mounts behind the front sight on M-16 or M-4 style rifles and the laser is offset to project around the front sight. Equipped with a visible Super Power Point laser for maximum daytime visibility and Quick Release Throw Lever Mount.
Rugged, compact and fully waterproof, the ITAL and OTAL aiming lasers are used by military and law enforcement agencies worldwide. The ITAL (NATO #1005-99-535-5506), mounts on flattop rifles or on a barrel mounted rail and the laser aligns with the center of the barrel. The OTAL mounts behind the front sight on M-16 or M-4 style rifles and the laser is offset to project around the front sight. Each unit is equipped with a visible Super Power Point™ laser for maximum daytime visibility. An optional Infrared laser diode is available to Law Enforcement and Military agencies only (Call Customer Service for Details).

This laser has about 5 hours of continuous on use, uses commonly available AA batteries, and projects a bright laser dot an amazing distance away (we actually tested Laser Devices Lasers under tactical conditions). Most tactical weapon lasers only have about 1 hour's worth of battery life, take a special battery that's hard to find, and only project a dot a moderate distance. A tactical weapon laser that only lasts 1 hour before the batteries die isn't going to do the job when you're out on an all night mission (especially if you forgot to bring extra "special" batteries).
